Meltemi Music

Welcome to NYX Modern Greek Cuisine. Here at NYX we offer small dishes refered to as “mezze” which is the Greek word for titbit of food, a small serving of Something delicious to accompany a glass of wine or maybe an ouzo as you sit back and relax with friends. Replacing the stress of having to choose from a menu, or sit down to a formal meal, mezze is the sumptuous alternative – a little bit of everything keeps you satisfied and interested as many tasty dishes flow from the kitchen.
Hope you enjoy our many little tastes.

MENU

TAPAS ‘GREEK STYLE’

'A little bit of everything' is our philosophy behind NYX Modern Greek Cuisine, and it's no lie when you see the wide-ranging mezze of Greek tapas. From dips to dolmades, lamb skewers to lagana bread, NYX offers a mix of chargrilled, braised, flash-fried and freshly-cooked options, such as the calamari tiganito (crisp fresh flash-fried squid served with garlic aioli) and the gigandes (lima beans braised with tomato and onion). Wine and other beverages are included in the six banquet options that range from $21.50-$45, and no Greek restaurant would be complete without a dash of ouzo. Named after a beautiful Greek goddess, NYX replaces old Greek restaurant Achaia, and sits comfortably in the Greek Precinct in Swan Street Hill Richmond.
